On tone of my Stratocaster I have RAW Vintage saddles, 60's single coils and now this springs. Wow it made good Strat to awesome Strat.
I was like wait springs should not be making any significant difference in way my guitar sound. But it does.
I am not really sure is it due to the fact that when I have changed spring I have had to tighten the screws further into the body or because of the steel used but guitar sounds different.
So please note that most probably you will need to do setup again. Once I have done it tremolo action feels different. It feels smooth now. One more thing I have not expected.
Not sure how would it sound with stock saddles though. It really works good together though.
I am using 5 springs always so I am not sure does it make anything better or how much for the people who use 3 springs I have not tested it. For me and my Stratocaster it worked perfect.
With Their 60's pickups, saddles and springs my Swamp Ash, rosewood neck Stratocaster sounds awesome and comparable to real 60-ies guitars.
Well Swamp Ash with Rosewood neck guitars where made from '62 and 60's single coils are no brainer.
